Students 18 and Over who do NOT have a Driver's License.
Students 18 and over are required to present a Government-Issued Picture ID (not expired) in order to check in for a flight.  Students who do not have a driver's license must present an alternate form of identification such as a Passport. List of Accepted Identification  The name provided to the band director or group leader should be the name that appears on the alternate ID and must exactly match it.

Individuals under 18 are not required to present ID to check in for a flight.  However, if a student has a driver's license, the name provided to the band director or group leader should be the name on the driver's license.  Students should bring their driver's license and provide it to TSA if asked.

Students under 18 who do NOT have a Driver's License
Individuals under 18 are not required to present ID to check in for a flight.  If a student does not have a driver's license, then the name provided to the band director or group leader should be the name that appears on the student's birth certificate. How to Pack for
TSA Airport Screening

Liquids and gels are allowed only in quantities of 3 ounces or less.  These must be packed in a 1-quart sized clear, plastic zip-top bag.  Each passenger is allowed one bag.  The bag must be removed from carry-on luggage and placed in a screening bin. Laptops must be removed from luggage and placed in a separate screening bin as the only item in the bin.  Jackets and shoes must be removed and placed in a bin.  Boarding pass and ID should be hand carried throughout screening.

Do Not Pack, Do Not Bring!
Knives of any kind, blades of any kind (disposable razors are okay), scissors (unless blade is under 4" with rounded tip), lighters, aerosols (unless packed in checked luggage), batteries or other corrosive materials, weapons of any kind, anything with a fuse or which is lit with a match, matches or any flamable material.

Don't Mess with the TSA!
The TSA is extremely serious and diligent about their task of identifying potential terroristic threats.  They have ZERO sense of humor for jokes or comments about bombs, fires, plane crashes, explosions, hijackings, or the like.  They have the power to detain any person they deem even a remote threat and they can keep you from boarding your flight, or much worse.  At the airport, and especially during the security screening, all passengers are expected to conduct themselves responsibly and to comply with any and all requests and/or instructions.  We just don't mess with the TSA!  Don't even think about it.
